I volunteer at a horse ranch and am on the board of four charity organizations, that mainly deal with supporting youth with health, wellness and arts programs around the world.
What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
When I say the original Superman movie (the one with Christopher Reeve). I said to myself, "I either wanna be a super hero or play one on TV."
Personal

I'd describe myself as compassionate, genuine, caring, responsible, fun.
How would people who know you describe you?
I think others would describe me as outgoing, friendly, kind, driven and somewhat competitive.

I love food so I can't pick just one. Please don't make me. But I will say, my favorite type is Seafood. I tend to have a pretty healthy diet and avoid sugar and junk food.

I just finished the book Sapiens and found that fascinating. I also like The Four Agreements and Rich Dad, Poor Dad.

I'm currently reading Atomic Habits and How to Talk to Anyone.
What hobbies/activities do you enjoy?
Football, Hockey, Wrestling, Hiking, Camping, Snowboarding, Skiing, Climbing.
Favorite places you’ve visited or would love to travel to?
I've been blessed to go many countries over the years, but Croatia is still on my list.
Who are you closest to in your family and why?
My mother. She's such a strong woman and I have a bond with her that I don't have with anyone else in my life.
Who are the most important people in your life?
The most important people in my life are my mother, father, brother, sister, three nieces, two nephews, and my spouse.
What would you consider to be your greatest strengths?
In college, at the end of each year we'd test our "strengths" as they relate to (potential) future careers in business. Each year I'd score the highest in Curiosity. Back then, I'd roll my eyes and wish for my greatest strength to be Communication or Problem-Solving. Now that I'm older, I'm thankful that was my strength. I have a genuine curiosity about the universe in general, about the lives of others, about how things work, about why things are the way they are in America and around the world. That strength has taken me to some pretty remarkable places and helped me to achieve some pretty remarkable things. If I could, I wouldn't change it for anything. Today, I do feel like I have a handful of useful leadership skills. I consider myself a strong communicator. But it's my curiosity that keeps things interesting.
What are your special talents?
I consider myself an athletic person, and I enjoy recreational sports like kickball, dodgeball, football and hockey. I was a varsity wrestler in high school, and as I've gotten older, I try to remain psychically fit playing community sports with friends. As a performer, I can also sing and dance if the mood is right. I also have a sense of adventure, so I'll travel to distant countries, explore, scuba dive, bungee jump, skydive, those types of things.
What is something you've accomplished in life that you are most proud of?
Being part of the entertainment industry in Los Angeles is challenging enough, so the fact that I've been able to carve out a career for myself is something I'm very proud of. And recently, I won two Emmy Awards, one for acting and one for producing. The last couple years haven't been too shabby.
What is something people would be pleasantly surprised to learn about you?
I have a very positive outlook on life in general and feel like I was raised in a positive household full of love and compassion for myself and my two siblings. I've been volunteering with non-profit organizations since I was in my teens and enjoy helping others. I did well in school and consider myself above-average in intelligence and natural abilities with respect to my mind and my body.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
With the way technology is evolving, who knows? Maybe the moon? That or sitting by the pool with my two dogs reading a book or a script.
What is one change you wish to see in the world?
I was born on the east coast. When I was a child, my grandfather would always tell me, "Leave everything better than you found it." We'd regularly do beach cleanups or activities geared towards helping the environment. I feel like Americans today (and humans in general) tend to use more than they need and don't pay enough attention to the harm that some of their actions do on environments around them. I with more people would adopt the "leave everything better than you found it" mentality.
What are your favorite words to live by?
"If it's worth doing, it's worth doing well."
Why do you want to become a sperm donor?
In short, I'd like to help someone start a family of her own. I feel like I was blessed with healthy genes compared to others I know with illnesses in their families, so if I can pass those on, I'd like to. I'm not sure I'm going to have children, so this is my way of helping others if that's a path they'd like to take.
If you could send the intended parents who are considering you a message, what would it be?
I think starting a family, whatever that looks like, is a truly beautiful and courageous thing. I'd like to thank you for considering me and I hope that I can be part of your journey in this very small way.
