I take enormous pride in my time working for a global health nonprofit that distributed treated mosquito nets to children and pregnant women to prevent malaria. Shortly after I came in, a heavy rainy season in Central Africa led to a massive rise in the disease; I managed to re-negotiate our costs and streamline operations so that we were able to deliver 50% more nets than the previous year and in less than half the time, helping thousands of vulnerable people stay healthy.

I grew up on a farm and have a strong level of comfort and intuition with animals.

In my ideal world, people would see the best in one another, even through big mistakes and challenging times. Forgiveness and trust would be much more normal.
